Matcha Chia Pudding
An emerald, spoonable ritual: creamy chia pudding infused with ceremonial matcha. Clean, lightly sweet (optional), and perfect for make-ahead mornings or a calm afternoon reset.
Make-ahead · Spoonable & silky · Clean matcha finish
Emerald silk, no fuss
Chia turns milk into a gentle pudding overnight. Matcha adds brightness and a calm, clean lift. The key is dissolving matcha first so the pudding is evenly green — smooth, not speckled.
Keep sweetness subtle (or skip it) so matcha stays present. Vanilla + a tiny pinch of salt make it taste rounder.
Ingredients & Ratio
This is a clean base you can scale. For thicker pudding, add more chia. For softer pudding, add a splash of milk in the morning.
240 ml milk of choice
3 tbsp chia seeds (30–36 g)
120 g yogurt (optional, for extra creaminess)
Yogurt makes it richer; skip it for a lighter, dairy-free version.
1.5–2 g ceremonial matcha (≈ 1 tsp)
30 ml water (to dissolve)
¼ tsp vanilla + pinch of salt
Dissolve matcha first for an evenly emerald pudding.
Strawberries or blueberries
Banana slices
Pistachio or toasted coconut
Drizzle of honey (tiny)
Keep toppings simple so matcha stays clean and present.
The ritual steps
Make a smooth matcha concentrate, mix, rest, mix again — then chill. The second stir is what makes it silky instead of clumpy.
Ceremonial matcha folded into creamy chia — clean, calm, and ready when you are.
Serving note Rest 10 minutes and stir again before chilling — it’s the difference between clumpy and silky.
