Matcha Coconut Water Refresher

Ceremonial Matcha Recipe

Matcha Coconut Water Refresher

A light, hydrating matcha drink — crisp coconut water, bright ceremonial matcha, and a squeeze of citrus. Clean energy, zero heaviness. Perfect for hot mornings and mid-day reset.

Hydrating · Light · Citrus-clean finish

The feel

Emerald hydration

This is matcha at its lightest: no milk, no syrupy sweetness — just coconut water and a clean, citrus lift. The key is making a small smooth matcha concentrate first, then pouring it over ice so it stays vibrant and clump-free.

Keep it simple. If you want sweetness, use a tiny amount of honey or agave — but let matcha stay the star.

The essentials

Ingredients & Ratio

Strong, smooth matcha concentrate + cold coconut water + ice. Add citrus last for a bright finish.

Matcha concentrate

2 g ceremonial matcha (≈ 1 tsp, heaped)
45–60 ml water at 75–80°C

Slightly stronger than usual so it stays vivid when diluted.

Refresher base

220–280 ml chilled coconut water
Ice (a full glass)

Choose pure coconut water with no added sugar for “crystal clean.”

Citrus + optional

1–2 tsp lime juice (or lemon)
1 tsp honey/agave (optional)
Pinch of salt (optional, enhances coconut)

Add citrus to taste — keep it bright, not sour.

How to

The ritual steps

Whisk matcha smooth, build over ice, then finish with citrus. Stir gently to keep it clean and bright.

1
Make matcha concentrate
Sift matcha into a bowl/cup. Add 45–60 ml water at 75–80°C. Whisk (or froth) for 10–20 seconds until silky.
2
Build the refresher
Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour in chilled coconut water (220–280 ml). Add matcha concentrate on top.
3
Finish with citrus
Add 1–2 tsp lime (or lemon). Optional: 1 tsp honey/agave + a tiny pinch of salt. Stir gently.
4
Sip clean
Drink immediately for the brightest flavor. If it separates, a quick stir brings it back.
Troubleshooting
Tastes “watery”?
Make a stronger concentrate (use 45 ml water, not 60) or reduce coconut water slightly.
Too bitter?
Lower water temp (75°C) and add 1 tsp honey. Bitter often means water was too hot.
Want it extra “Dubai”?
Add a drop of orange blossom water (very subtle) or garnish with a mint leaf + lime.
Refresh
Hydrate with emerald clarity

Coconut water + ceremonial matcha + citrus — clean, light, and made for warm days.

Serving note Whisk matcha smooth first, then go cold. That’s how you keep it crystal-clean.

Crystal-clean · Citrus-bright · Emerald energy.
