Matcha Energy Balls
Clean green bites for steady energy — creamy, lightly sweet, and matcha-forward. No baking, no mess: just mix, roll, chill, and keep in the fridge for a calm grab-and-go ritual.
No-bake · Naturally sweet · Matcha-forward
Sweet enough. Still clean.
These energy balls are built to taste bright and clean — not like candy. Dates provide gentle sweetness, nut butter adds richness, and matcha brings a vivid green finish. A pinch of salt is the secret: it makes matcha taste smoother and more rounded.
Make a batch once and keep them chilled for the week. One or two is the perfect pre-work, mid-morning, or afternoon reset.
Ingredients & Ratio
This base rolls easily and stays clean. If the mix feels sticky, add oats. If it feels dry, add nut butter 1 tsp at a time.
1 cup soft pitted dates (about 10–12)
¾ cup rolled oats
⅓ cup nut butter (almond or cashew)
Cashew butter = the most “clean” flavor with matcha.
2–3 tsp ceremonial matcha (to taste)
½ tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
Start with 2 tsp for mild, 3 tsp for more vivid matcha.
Shredded coconut
Crushed pistachio
Sesame seeds
A light dusting of matcha
Choose one coating for a minimalist finish.
The ritual steps
Blend, roll, chill. That’s it. The only rule: stop blending as soon as it holds together — over-blending makes it oily.
Matcha-forward energy balls — naturally sweet, no-bake, and easy to keep on hand for steady, calm focus.
Serving note Keep sweetness gentle so matcha stays bright. A pinch of salt makes the flavor smoother.
